Our History

Tanglewood Golf Club

A Tradition Made by Legends

Completed in 1967, Tanglewood Golf Course was designed by William F. Mitchell, a highly regarded member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. Nestled among 130 acres of rolling hills, the grounds feature bent grass tees and fairways, as well as the smoothest greens in all of Northeast Ohio golf.

We are located in the picturesque neighborhood of Tanglewood Lake Development in Chagrin Falls, just a short drive from downtown Cleveland.

New Features

We recently completed a $1-million renovation project that included substantial course improvements, remodeled banquet facilities and an entire fleet of new electric golf carts.

The course will test serious players with strategically-placed bunkers, expansive lakes and tree-lined fairways. But with multiple tees ranging from 5,100 yards to a challenging 7,050 yards, the course also allows casual players to relax and learn the game. It was one of the first in the United States designed to include lady’s tees, and it remains a challenging, but family friendly layout to this day. The club is open to the public seven days a week to become one of the best golf values in Northeast Ohio.
